How your book is made

Your photographs are transformed into original illustrations with the help of AI-assisted artistry, then printed on handmade Amalfi paper and bound by hand in Italy. Because every book is individually created and hand-finished, the illustrations are a unique interpretation of your photos — never an exact copy, and never identical to any other book. Like the year they capture, no two are ever the same, and those gentle variations are part of what makes your book one of a kind.

The making

Over the next few weeks, each of your photographs is transformed into an illustration — quick sketches for the early months, full watercolor illustrations for the more recent ones. Your book is then made to your specifications, bound by master artisans in Italy. This is slow, deliberate work — the kind that lasts.

On its way to you

When your book is ready, we'll email you shipping details and tracking so you can watch it make its way home. Most storybooks arrive about a week after shipping.
